The Resource Coordination Program, located at the St. Mary's County Health Department, is the local community gateway for services with the Developmental Disabilities Administration (DDA). Program staff educates the community about DDA eligibility and services, assist individuals with developmental disabilities apply for services with the DDA, help locate local services and provide case management for individuals receiving DDA-funded services in a DDA waiver.Who Should Apply for DDA Services?
Anyone with a severe, chronic developmental disability who needs residential, day, or support services can apply.
How to Apply:
In St. Mary's County, referrals are usually made directly to the Resource Coordination Program. Please use an intake form to make a referral. After intake, a resource coordinator will contact you to make an appointment.

What Services are Available Through the DDA?
Depending on the eligibility determination. If DD eligible, Day, Residential or Supports. If eligible as Supports Only, Supports.
Transitioning Youth Services
Transitioning youth comprise a special category for services with the State of Maryland. The local school system is the lead agency to facilitate preparing the student with disabilities for the transition from high school to adult services.
